Mushroom grrrls – posing with my electrical box art that you can see on Beverly blvd in Los Angeles – across the street from The New Beverly Cinema.

2-21-21…

Hello! Welcome to my website. Thanks for stopping by. Today is Sunday, and I’m taking a break from my Riverdale binge-watching to do a little check in on here.

First, I want to say thank you to everyone who has purchased my oracle deck, and those of you that have supported my art/Etsy in general. There are now coloring pages from the deck on the art tab page of my site. I’d love to see what you come up with. You can email me photos of your designs at tayblackwell@gmail.com – I hope to hear from you! The deck is now being sold in a couple of stores, which is a great honor. I’ll be sharing more about this soon. I will be getting back to weekly TikTok oracle card readings and Instagram live readings in the near future as well.

It looks like I’ll be finishing the recording of my solo album at the end of this month. If not finishing, I’ll at least be getting the bulk of it done. I’m really excited and loving how everything is sounding thus far. We’ve tracked drums, bass, and some guitar. Pretty soon I’ll be getting in the vocal booth, and laying down some accordion as well. The album is being produced by my friend Davey Warsop from the band Sharp/Shock. Davey and I met a few years ago when my band ”the tenth” did a live session with Hurley, (which you can watch on the music tab.) I’m really enjoying working with him again. As soon as the recording is done, I’ll be sinking my teeth into some music videos.

I have a few other creative projects and tricks up my sleeve, which I’ll share in the near future.

Sending everyone lots of love. Stay safe, where your masks, and I’ll see you soon!

Taylor
