debut solo album “In Memory of Haroldine”
Taylor Blackwell is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Taylor co-founded the bubblegum punk band “the tenth” in 2019 with actress Harley Quinn Smith. Together, they released EP ”Boys We Don’t Know” and their debut album ”DUNES.” Taylor Blackwell, vocals/guitar. Harley Quinn Smith, vocals/bass. Eden Hain, guitar. the tenth has played legendary Los Angeles venues such as The Troubadour, The Smell, and The Hi Hat.
Taylor released their debut solo album, ”In Memory of Haroldine”, September 1st, 2021. The album is comprised of ten original tracks which Taylor wrote, sings, and plays accordion on. It was produced by Sharp/Shock’s Davey Warsop and features Fin Argus. Taylor played their track ”Never Could” live on the TODAY show, and appeared on AFI’s Davey Havok’s Sirius XM radio show.
They have directed three music videos for themself; “B.S. Poetry” starring Dempsey Bryk, ”So Sweetly”, starring Anthony Keyvan, and their self-animated video, ”First Time I Died.” “B.S. Poetry” was in an episode of Syfy’s series “Resident Alien.”
